The House of Forgings 16.3.10 Level Base Collar is designed for 9/16″ round iron balusters and is used on flat surfaces. Made from cast iron, this base collar has a 1.57″ round base. It includes a set screw which is tightened using a 2.5mm Allen wrench (not included). These base shoes are purely decorative and do not secure the baluster in place. Their primary purpose is to conceal the gaps left after baluster installation, offering a quick and cost-effective way to achieve a finished look for your stairs.
