9/16-inch Round Solid Iron Balusters

The 9/16-inch Round Series features solid wrought iron balusters for a durable, high-quality staircase balustrade. Each baluster has a 9/16" round diameter and a standard 44" length that can be cut from the bottom to fit both rakes and level runs. The solid iron construction gives these spindles real weight and a better feel than hollow alternatives. The clean round profile works well with both contemporary and traditional styles.

Installation is straightforward. The round shape only needs a standard drilled hole in the handrail and tread, which is often faster and more forgiving than cutting a square mortise. They can be installed directly into the wood with epoxy for a clean, modern look without a base shoe, or used with any standard base shoe made for a 9/16" round profile.
