Heights Side Mount Baluster System

The Heights collection is a side-mount hardware system for standard 1/2" square iron balusters. Instead of installing into the top of the tread, balusters attach to the exterior face of the staircase—stringer, skirt board, or tread ends. This fascia-mount approach gives a clean, modern look and helps maximize usable tread width.

A universal bracket holds a standard 44" × 1/2" square baluster and locks it with a set screw.

Compatibility

• Tread thickness: 3/4" to 4"
• Finished railing height: 36" to 42"
• Newel width: 1" to 6"

Mounts can be secured with wood screws into framing, or with epoxy/anchors as needed. They work with any standard 1/2" square baluster shoe or base collar. The trimmable design also helps align balusters to the handrail centerline relative to the newel.
