Base Shoes for 9/16-inch Balusters

Base shoes finish the bottom of each iron baluster where it meets the tread or floor. They cover the drilled hole and any adhesive for a clean, professional look.

This collection is sized for 9/16-inch balusters and works with both 9/16" square profiles (such as Santa Fe and Gothic Hammered) and 9/16" plain round balusters. They are not compatible with the Tuscan series. Use flat shoes on level surfaces and angled shoes on the rake.

Available in a range of designs and powder-coated finishes to match your balusters. Most shoes lock in place with a set screw. We keep these in stock so you can get the hardware you need without delays. Order both flat and angled shoes to finish the full balustrade.
