I bought the Mega straight and single knuckle balusters for a renovation project. I second guessed myself and called customer service (who were phenomenal) thought they would be too chunky and overpowering in our beach rental with open riser stairway. They are not thicker looking just more substantial. They are beautifully in proportion, the satin black is a well done satin black, the weighting is substantial, the finish work is excellent. They won’t be installed for a few more months so I can’t tell how easy they will be for my contractor to install. They don’t look cheap (much better than box stores) and I am all about quality.
