Select options
The House of Forgings 5015-36 Classic Wood Baluster features a classic style turned design, crafted from wood, and is pre-finished in white. It measures 1-1/4″ square at the base and comes 36″ long, including a 3/4″ dowel.
Key specs:
- Model: 5015-36.
- Design: Classic turned style.
- Material: Wood.
- Dimensions: 1-1/4″ square width; 36″ length (includes 3/4″ dowel).
- Finish: Pre-finished white.
Construction: This baluster is made from multiple layers or slices of the same species of wood, assembled together to form the product. This layered construction ensures better color matching on the outer layer for a uniform finish, incorporates alternating grain patterns within the layers to prevent warping over time, and reduces costs by using multiple sections for the inner core instead of a single solid piece.
Usage Tips: Install securely into your staircase structure using the included 3/4″ dowel with appropriate fasteners or adhesive suitable for wood. For the pre-finished white surface, if you wish to custom paint this on the job site, light sanding and a high quality primer may be required. Consult your local paint supply store before installation. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh chemicals to preserve the pre-finished white surface.

I ordered 5015-36 in red oak on Monday and received the parts on Thursday with standard shipping. The parts were identical, I only had to cut the lower end to match the rest of the balusters. Anyone that knew I broke the originals can’t see the difference. Great product. thanks, Cheap stair parts.

If you look closely there are some dings and other very minor imperfection here and there, but on the whole they consistently match great and the turn is dead center
