This House of Forgings 6010 bendable handrail is 18 feet long for curved staircase or balcony installations. It follows industry-standard profiles and ships via heavy freight.

Usage Tips: Although ready to stain, inspect for handling marks or smudges and lightly sand with 220-grit or finer paper, then wipe clean with a tack cloth before applying stain to ensure even absorption.
Construction: Handrail construction includes joints and layered sections with grains oriented against each other to counteract natural bending tendencies. Wood typically warps in one direction, so this method, common across the industry, minimizes potential issues. In addition, many species aren’t available in long single pieces and the only method to construct the handrail is with multiple layers. Also note that wood is an organic product with natural variances in shade or texture, which are inherent features rather than defects. We install and stain these same products daily with no issues.

- All other species (custom options): Made to order in an Amish woodmill with 2-3 weeks production time plus shipping; no returns or exchanges on customs.
