This is a 42″, 54″ & 60″ Retrofit Tread Kit with Riser and is used for stair remodels where carpet is being replaced with hardwood treads. It is available in Red Oak. The kit includes a tread with attached molding/trim and a stainable/paintable riser. This kit features a red oak tread measuring 42 (and 54 / 60″) inches in length, 10.5 inches in depth, and 11/16 inches in thickness. The included riser measures 7.5 inches in height, 42 inches in width, and 5/8 inches in thickness.

We used this product when removing carpet. They glued right in with minimal cutting. We used the smooth side of the riser with white paint. Very minimal sanding was required. Great product!

Arrived in good condition, well packaged. FedEx will tell you to have someone that can help lift the pallet from the truck, not accurate. Truck was equipped with a pallet jack and lift. He brought it to our door.

The best stair trend I have found. Engineered wood so it won’t warp. I do wish it was 1/2″ deeper to give the riser an option for placement. Good quality laminated hard wood. Stains perfectly and the finish is professional.

Good quality. The ones to replace carpeting were to narrow at 10.5 inches. Has to glue and additional 1.5 strip on the back edge to make them deep enough to end under the risers. Other than that they were of great quality and lool good.
