6 FT long piece of bending handrail. Comes in the 6010-B profile. Comes in a variety of wood species. We stock the Red Oak but all other wood species will have to be custom milled and will take 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Wood handrail will contain some joints and is constructed in layers. This type of construction puts the grain going against each other in order to prevent potential future warping. All wood bends has the potential to bend and when it does it typically bends one single direction which is why virtually all handrail produced will have the construction method similar to ours and aims to prevent wood warping. Also many wood species simply do not come in these extreme lengths. Our handrail gets installed daily in custom and production homes with zero issues and stains beautifully.

Additionally, the cutting tools used to manufacture the handrails may experience minor wear over time. These factors can occasionally lead to slight inconsistencies when fitting the handrail and fittings together. This is an industry-standard characteristic of wood. Typically, wood glue and mounting hardware are used to join the handrail and fitting, and this seam is sanded smooth. In cases where minor fitting adjustments are needed, the sanding process blends the pieces seamlessly, usually without adding significant time or complexity.
