The House of Forgings 16.3.2 Angled Base Shoe with Set Screw is designed to fit 1/2″ square iron balusters and accommodates angled surfaces up to a 36-degree pitch. Made from aluminum with a 1-5/16″ base, it includes a set screw for securing the shoe to the baluster, tightened with a 2.5mm Allen wrench (not included). This decorative base shoe hides gaps from drilled holes in the ground and handrail, offering a finished look for staircases while saving time and money during installation. It does not provide stability or support.

Clean with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the finish; avoid abrasive cleaners. Note that this shoe is decorative and does not provide stability or support.

I would definitely recommend ordering from here! I replaced 72 wood balusters with iron ones and I will say that they were a lot nicer than I expected. I used some straight hollow squares and some double spiral scrolls and the result looks beautiful. The scrolls are solid not hollow and look amazing. I used the shoes for tops and bottom and they really finish everything off nicely. Deliver was exactly as they said and I was notified when it would be coming. I even got a phone call from the driver letting me know approximately what time he would be coming. My overall experience with them was great and I would definitely order again.
