The 16.3.2 Angled Base Shoe with Set Screw is designed to fit our 1/2″ square iron balusters and sits on angled surfaces up to a 36-degree pitch. Made from aluminum, this base shoe has a 1-5/16″ base. It includes a set screw for securing the shoe to the baluster and tightens using a 2.5mm Allen wrench (not included). Base shoes to not provide stability or support to your baluster and are a purely decorative element. its primary focus is to hide gaps left over from drilling holes into the ground and up into the handrail, providing a finished look to your stair while saving time and money on the installation process.
