Made from aluminum, it features a 1-5/16″ base and comes with a set screw for attachment. The set screw is tightened using a 2.5mm Allen wrench (not included). These base shoes are purely decorative and do not secure the baluster in place. It is designed to hide the gaps left over after installing your baluster. Shoes are a quick way to give your stairs a finished look and save time and money on installation.
