These were very easy to install at the base of my half-inch balusters. They cover the hole perfectly and the screw-down tabs make them very secure.

I like that these are made of aluminum. They’re lightweight but still feel strong, and I don’t have to worry about them ever rusting, especially on our porch.

I’m so glad I chose these shoes with the screw-down ears instead of the standard ones. Once you screw them into the floor, they are absolutely rock solid. There’s no chance of them ever rattling or shifting. It makes the whole railing feel more secure.
