The House of Forgings 16.3.26 Level Base Shoe is designed for 9/16″ Tuscan round iron balusters and is used on flat surfaces. Made from cast iron, this base shoe has a 1-1/4″ base. It includes a set screw which is tightened using a 3mm Allen wrench (not included). These base shoes are purely decorative and do not secure the baluster in place. Their primary function is to conceal the gaps left after baluster installation, offering a quick and cost-effective way to achieve a finished look for your stairs.
