The House of Forgings 16.3.28 Angled Base Shoe with Set Screw is designed for 9/16″ Tuscan square iron balusters and is used on angled surfaces. Made from cast iron, this base shoe has a 1-1/4″ base. It includes a set screw which is tightened using a 3mm Allen wrench (not included). These base shoes are purely decorative and do not secure the baluster in place. Their primary purpose is to conceal the gaps left after baluster installation, offering a quick and cost-effective way to achieve a finished look for your stairs.
Installation: Set screw included for positioning; requires 3mm Allen wrench (not included).
Usage Tips: Secure the shoe to the baluster using the included set screw with a 3mm Allen wrench (not included). For a more permanent solution and to minimize uneven gaps, evenly space the shoe around the baluster and install it with a dab of our clear dry epoxy. Clean with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the finish; avoid abrasive cleaners. Note that this shoe is decorative and does not provide stability or support.

Bought these angle shoes because I’m using square balusters. Beautiful product especially for do it yourselfers.
