The 16.8.13 Double Sphere Round Hollow Iron Baluster, part of the Designer Tubular series, features a decorative double sphere design. Each sphere measures 1-1/4 inches in diameter. Constructed from hollow wrought iron, this baluster maintains a clean, round shape with a diameter of exactly 5/8 inch at the ends. It stands 44 inches tall and weighs 1.3 pounds.
This baluster is compatible with all other round balusters measuring 5/8 inch in diameter within the hollow product category, including others in the Designer Tubular series. Shoe parts 16.3.35 and 16.3.36 (sold separately) are available for purchase.
We went back and forth, but we are so glad we did it. We were able to do it ourselves and it looks so beautiful. A true transformation. We also gel stained our railing to a dark walnut color. The hollow balusters were easy to cut and install. The website made it easy to pick a design. I love the low profile round shoe, I didn’t want something very bulky/noticeable. I haven’t seen that elsewhere.
