I bought samples of similar design from two manufacturers. The HoF part was FAR superior. Indeed the competitor’s weld fractured at the sphere joint while installing!! The HoF was more substantial being 9/16 vs 1/2″ – doesn’t sound much but it does make a more pronounced visual impact. The Forged Hammer design was beautiful. And the shoes were themselves extremely robust!
Very pleased with these balusters and will be filling out an order for the remaining numbers required to complete the entire project.
