Box Newel Post Construction
Box newel posts are crafted from multiple layers or slices of the same species of wood, assembled together to form the product. This layered construction ensures better color matching on the outer layer for a uniform finish, incorporates alternating grain patterns within the layers to prevent warping over time, and reduces costs by using multiple sections for the inner core instead of a single solid piece.
