    This is a very heavy, solid newel post. I had a question about the shipping and Christina was very helpful and let me know what to expect. It arrived in perfect condition, no dents or scratches.

    It was hard to find a newel post tall enough for our landing, but this 58″ one was perfect. It’s a gorgeous piece of solid red oak with a beautiful, deep grain. We stained it to match our handrail and it looks like it was always there.
