Primarily used in stair remodels and new stair construction, these wood balusters and wood newels feature clean profiles that blend classic shapes with simple lines. Made in the USA with patent-pending designs exclusive to House of Forgings, they come in white oak, red oak, or poplar, and ship unfinished for staining or painting to suit your space.

Available in 3-inch or 3-1/2-inch widths, the parts support post-to-post or over-the-post railing systems. Balusters include pre-drilled holes and removable pins for secure installation on level runs, sloped stairs, or kneewalls, with options to cut bottoms for angled fits—all compliant with building codes. Pair them with recommended handrails like the 6500 modern or 6610 transitional profiles, available in matching woods with full fittings.
