They look gorgeous and they are very sturdy (as opposed to the hollow ones I passed on). The matte black has a great, rich look against the dark stain on the railings. I’m alternating plain balusters with double knuckle 1:1. Do yourself a favor and get a portable band saw to cut them. It makes the job a heck of a lot easier and cleaner.
The folks at CheapStairParts were great too. I received a text message shortly after placing the order letting me know that the plain balusters were on back order. I called the help number they gave me and a very nice woman was able to change the shipping method to get the items i needed on time. And everything was delivered super fast.
