It includes a set screw which is tightened using a 2.5mm Allen wrench (not included). These base shoes are purely decorative and do not secure the baluster in place. Their primary purpose is to conceal the gaps left after baluster installation, offering a quick and cost-effective way to achieve a finished look for your stairs.
