14 FT long piece of bending handrail. Comes in the 6010-B profile. Comes in a variety of wood species. We stock the Red Oak but all other wood species will have to be custom milled and will take 2-3 weeks for delivery.

    This 14ft bending stock is great. If you’re doing it yourself, just remember patience is key when gluing and clamping a piece this long.

    We actually used a shorter bending rail from here for another small curve, and this 14-foot piece for our main stairs was just as high quality.

    our staircase had a fairly long curve, but 16 feet would have been too much. This 14-foot bending rail in Red Oak was the perfect length to get the job done with minimal waste.

These factors can occasionally lead to slight inconsistencies when fitting the handrail and fittings together. This is an industry-standard characteristic of wood. Typically, wood glue and mounting hardware are used to join the handrail and fitting, and this seam is sanded smooth. In cases where minor fitting adjustments are needed, the sanding process blends the pieces seamlessly, usually without adding significant time or complexity.
