Why we made AXIA simple
Most stainless railing catalogs run hundreds of pages with endless sizes. We narrowed AXIA down to round or square, cable or glass, in one size and one look. You should be able to complete your whole job with our stocked parts.
No-weld, component-based installation
Posts, rails, fittings, brackets and cable hardware all assemble without welding. Cutting parts to length and drilling holes for cable are the hardest parts of the job. If you are unsure about doing those yourself, hiring an experienced installer is a good idea. See our stainless steel install guides.
304 and 316 stainless steel
AXIA is made from 304 and 316 grade stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. For outdoor jobs within a few miles of the coast, we recommend 316. 304 works for all indoor and most outdoor installs with proper maintenance.
Cable or glass?
Cable is much easier to install and is the go-to choice for most stainless railing systems. Glass needs a professional installer experienced in templating glass panels to exact measurements. We sell the parts for both.

How easy is it to install the AXIA stainless steel railing system?
The system is designed for easy assembly with no welding, which can save you the cost of professional fabrication. Cutting parts to length and drilling holes for cable are the most challenging steps. If you are unsure of your ability, hiring an experienced installer is a great idea.
Can the AXIA railing system be customized?
AXIA comes in a curated range of common sizes and designs for stairs, balconies and decks, and you should be able to complete your entire job with our existing parts. We do not offer custom fabrication.
Can you quote my stainless railing project?

Do I need a swaging tool for cable railing?
Not if you choose our swageless cable infill. Swageless fittings grip the cable without a special tool, which makes them the easier choice for most DIY installs. Our swaging-required cable infill costs less, but you will need a swaging tool to crimp the fittings onto the cable.
How do I clean and maintain stainless steel railing?
Stainless steel is low maintenance. Wipe it occasionally with a soft cloth and mild soap to prevent buildup. We also offer a 3-stage cleaning system in our AXIA tools.
