MEGA 3/4-inch Square Hollow Iron Balusters

The MEGA series features a substantial 3/4-inch square profile for a bolder look than standard 1/2-inch spindles. The larger size gives staircases a stronger, more architectural presence—ideal for larger runs or projects that need a heavier visual weight.

Each baluster is made from hollow metal tubing. This delivers the look of a solid bar while keeping the actual weight lower for easier handling, cutting, and installation, all while meeting building code strength requirements.

Installation needs a larger hole in the handrail and treads. Pair them with our Base Shoes for 3/4" MEGA Balusters, which are sized specifically for this profile. The collection includes plain bars and knuckle styles so you can create a custom repeating pattern.
