The House of Forgings 16.3.36 Round Hole Angled Base Shoe with Set Screw is designed for 5/8″ round iron balusters and is used on angled surfaces. Made from cast iron, this base shoe features a 1-1/4″ base. It includes a set screw which is tightened using a 3mm Allen wrench (not included). These base shoes are purely decorative and do not secure the baluster in place. Their primary purpose is to conceal the gaps left after baluster installation, offering a quick and cost-effective way to achieve a finished look for your stairs.
