The House of Forgings 16.1.21-T Long Single Twist Hollow Iron Baluster is constructed from hollow wrought iron, making it lightweight and durable. It stands 44 inches tall and is 1/2″ square in diameter, featuring a prominent 22″ twist that adds a distinctive decorative element to your staircase design. This baluster weighs 1.3 lbs and is intended for use with all other 1/2″ square balusters. For installation, it utilizes shoes 16.3.19, 16.3.2, designed for half-inch balusters.
Usage Tips: Ensure proper installation with compatible shoes 16.3.19, 16.3.2 for stability. Clean with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the finish; avoid abrasive cleaners to prevent damage.
Looked great next to the 2 basket, both were in the rubbed copper.

Very good product. Would have been better if the length was a bit shorter – 30″ would have been ideal.

We have yet to install the balusters that we ordered so this rating is base on the look of the product before installation and not how they are to install but they look great, we’re inexpensive and were delivered quickly.

The products look to be of the highest quality but at an affordable price. I saved nearly 25% over my local big box stores for similar products, though the big box had limited selection.

The company was great about letting me know which products would take longer to ship and recommend alternatives. Calling to discuss product needs, the phone service was great and shipping was timely. I would highly recommend the company – and if I had any other stairs to do, I would call in a heartbeat.

Was happy to receive my box of balusters and shoes 2 days early, in perfect shape. Watched a couple YouTube videos and was able to remove all 40 wood balusters and trim the new ones to length in about 2 1/2 hrs. Used clear construction adhesive to secure new ones, screwed shoes in place, and the finished product is great. Low cost, high impact improvement that transformed the staircase from utilitarian to a showpiece. Very pleased. You won’t be sorry. Balusters and shoes are excellent quality and should probably cost a lot more than they do.

Very nice product. Can not wait until my co tractor can get the staircase put up. Fast delivery. If an item on the shipment is not ready a short email to the customer should be sent out with and ETA. But, I just sent a not to the company and my material was shipped to me within 2 weeks of it being out stocked. Thx.

Balusters arrived rapidly, in great condition, well packaged, and as expected. Despite being hollow they are very heavy weight and sturdy and most reasonable price we could find any where. We did end up purchasing an adaptor through Amazon which inserted into the hollow end in order to screw the baluster to the flat base wall instead of drilling base holes. Wish they were sold here, as they saved so much time and effort (we were replacing wooden spindles which had counter drilled screws which made it difficult to drill the base holes). These balusters were perfect and turned out beautifully in our project though – highly recommend!

I was a little reluctant purchasing the balusters online, because sometimes you just don’t know what you’re going to get. It was a large order for me, 75 Balusters and shoes.
I am so happy with the quality of the product. These balusters were even better that what I was going to get at the box stores or at or local lumber yards and it was at a considerable savings.
And everything was well packaged, so no little scratches in the powder coatings,
all in all, everything far exceeded my expectations. Don’t worry ! Go ahead and order everything will be fine. At least that was my experience.
